Pope Memorial Library Autumn Book & Bread Sale
Sunday, October 2, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Pope Memorial Community Center
Shop for winter reading and upcoming seasonal gifts by contribution. Buy a delicious loaf of homemade quick or yeast bread to have on hand for these cool autumn mornings. Support the Pope Memorial Community Center, a special gift for the use and benefit of Danville and neighboring communities.
Donations of good quality books are being gladly accepted and for those of you who love to bake quick or yeast breads we will gladly accept a donation of a loaf or two of your favorite recipes. Call or email the Pope for further details at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-802-684-2256.
Our Sweetest Fundraiser is looking for volunteers for the Pope Library Ice Cream Booth at the Danville Fair, Saturday August 6th. If you are interested in helping out, please call the Library Mon/Wed/Friday at 684-2256 or message us and include what part of the day works best for you. This is a Fun and Easy way to support the Library, see old friends, meet new people in town, get your older kids or teens involved with supporting our community… there are so many great reasons to sign up! Shifts shouldn’t be too long and run from 11AM to 7pm or until we run out of ice cream.
Spirits of Vermont
Taste the best of Vermont’s distilleries, wineries, and breweries paired with a showcase of food by local chefs. There will also be a coffee tasting, book signing, live music and a silent auction. Spirits of Vermont, a fundraiser to benefit the Pope Memorial Library in Danville, VT. Sunday, July 3rd, 2-5 pm at Joe’s Pond Clubhouse in West Danville. Donation $30/ticket.
